No sooner do I finish my article about the Michigan State game, in which I said that the best we could do was maybe possibly perhaps finish #3, than #3 Miami goes and loses to Georgia Tech, 14–10. What’s more, Fresno State is beating #1 USC 21–13 at halftime. While it’s still too early to tell about the latter game, the winds of fate might be making a liar out of me yet again. Who the hell knows? After tonight, the Nittany Lions might have a shot at the damn Rose Bowl!
Ahhh, the wonderful world of college football in November. Ya gotta love it!
I’m off to Baltimore to see the Steelers game tomorrow on my birthday and once again, I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving.
