Joe Said ‘No’ (Updated)

Joe said “no” to a delegation of four senior Penn State officials a year ago when they arrived at his house to discuss his potential retirement, reports the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in this Christmas Day article by Chico Harlan.

Paterno Wins Bobby Dodd Award

Among the honors being heaped on Nittany Lion head coach Joe Paterno this year is his second Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year Award. The Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year Award is to honor the Division I football coach whose programs represent quality on and off of the field.

Don’t Get Upset!

Nittany Lions fans are apparently getting the message that the Florida State Seminoles, despite their four losses, are dangerous Orange Bowl opponents. Not only do they have nothing to lose and a lot to prove but also they have a broad array of talent that can win big football games.
