Disappointing....that sums up this year. There are teams/years, that a winning season and a minor bowl would be satisfactory if they scrapped,and played hard and and worked over their heads for what ever reason. That was not this team. No need to kick around all the events and reasons . We are being media spun to have lower expectations of PSU for many reasons, But Joes' ego is at the bottom of most of them. To listen to the pe-game or Joes' press conference, everything is going great ( the" Morreli is coming along" line is just over the top. This was the last game of his last year ! If he isn't there now , he never will be!) As I stated in one of my first rants, would any other top 25 team accept this? No! Why should we? The football program is far too important to the whole of PSU to be brought to anything less than a top of the line program. So ,as OSU sent John Cooper to the showers, the alumni of this school need to take matters into their own hands. Tim Curley my have worshiped Joe as a young man, but I hope he now sees that the whole of PSU is more important. I'm sure that I'm not alone in my thinking. The problem is that myself and many other will follow the Blue and White not matter what, and the school knows it. So those alumni with the money and power need to speak their minds . Here's to the hope that the spot for the OSU game next year is PSU by 14. Keep your head low Turkey, as it is Thanksgiving. Nobody else will bite , so I guess I will.
