Pope Benedict plays Madden

In a comment to another Turkey post, the Egg Man alerted me to the notion that we soon will be able to pray to John Madden when our favorite team is in trouble, because the Roman Catholic Church has taken the first step toward elevating the venerable (and now retired) football coach and announcer to sainthood.
