My fears about this team are exacerbated by the appearance of Daryll Clark and Stefan Wisniewski on the cover of Sports Illustrated. Yes, the cover jinx is once again upon us. However, that could be counterbalanced by the Turkey paradox: when I say they'll suck, they're usually not too shabby.
Twelve days and counting. Usually, by this time, The Nittany Turkey has issued his season predictions for the forthcoming Penn State football year. Not so this year. This year is special. This Turkey has been far too lazy far too long. So, without further ado, let me rectumfy this sorry situation.
While I am well aware that most readership of this blog (both of you --- hiya, AS!) are anxiously awaiting my seriously tardy prediction for the 2009 Penn State football season, I take great delight in reporting a more imminent and more important non-football event: the betrothal of The Nittany Turkey's literary sidekick, The Redhead.
