Get Legal or Get Out!

I think I’ve found another subject on which both conservative and liberal American citizens can agree: the great illegal immigrant fiasco. The only people, if you want to call them people, who seem to want to grant amnesty to illegal immigrants are opportunistic politicians. The rest of us would like to see our borders protected with reasonable barriers to entry, both physical and legal.

Don’t Give Me $100—Pass a Decent Energy Bill

Senator Bill Frist (R-TN) wants to give me $100 for my troubles at the gas pump and I’m insulted. This is a blatant attempt to buy my vote with money out of my pocket, a ridiculous conundrum.

Consumer Driven Health Care

I’ve been writing a lot about patients and doctors wresting away the management of health care from the dreaded insurance companies and government. In order for this to happen, the currently extant payment system must radically change. How do we accomplish this? It will not be an easy task, but as more influential people recognize the need, which seems to be happening, we can return to sanity.
