This year’s Blue-White spring intra-squad scrimmage will be televised via ESPN2 on April 24 at 2:00 PM ET.
Last year, there was no TV coverage, which made life damn difficult for those of us who were clamoring for football. This year, we will not be denied.
The game will now be officially captioned “The Blue-White Game presented by AAA”, reflecting the notion that everything is for sale these days.
This week’s Iowa game, officially declared the White House game by Guido d’Elia and his gang, will also have the distinction of being the venue for ESPN’s Gameday. This year, ESPN has been bringing in guest stars from the locations where Gameday has originated. So, who will be the local guest star? For last week’s Texas game, it was Lance Armstrong. I’m thinking maybe Franco Harris. What do you think?
