It’s that time again, Nittany Lion fans! With the season opener looming in a little more than two weeks, this Turkey will look ahead at the forthcoming season.
As usual, I’ll look at the Sports Illustrated pre-season rankings as a sanity check and starting point. I can pull rankings out of my ass just as easily as SI can, but since they’ve already done so, it will save me the trouble. Besides, it is much easier and much more fun to impugn and ridicule someone else’s rankings.
I am incensed! I just got off the phone with my physician’s office, having called to change my October 12 appointment for a physical exam. The phone person told me that if I wanted to change it, the next available date would be in February 2007. What the hell kind of arrogantly incompetent bullshit is that?
So, I see that I stumped you all with my Paterno sculpture quiz a couple of weeks ago. (If you haven’t read it yet, click here.) I got a couple of head-scratching answers and a whole lot of silence. Wellllll, your silence has spoken and this Turkey will make it easier for you.
