A major winter storm will sweep through the eastern US and up through New England on Wednesday and Thursday. Under these circumstances and given that fans are not permitted to attend games in Pennsylvania, would it not be foolhardy and ridiculous to play a meaningless game on Saturday? Call it off, already!
I would be willing to bet, by all that is holy, that the great spirits of Big Ten football will exercise common sense. Similarly, I would bet my first-born son that there will be fans who are incensed by that decision. (That would be Zane, and he’s a stepson, so nothing ventured… Just kidding.)
