It was a slow news day, I guess because BoB is planning his assault on the Ravens’ defense, so I thought I would post this video clip of a commercial for Sandusky, Ohio. It was pulled from the air after news of Jerry Sandusky’s transgressions broke and people of Sandusky didn’t want to be associated with the scandal.
WARNING: If you are sensitive, outraged, or just sick and tired of the Jerry Sandusky affair, don’t bother looking at it.

I’m guessing this is a joke, but it is funny in a sick way.
Now the city will have to hire an image consultant who will tell them to change their name. Also, “sandusky” is probably an English corruption of some Shawnee phrase and, therefore, has to go because it symbolizes “racist exploitation of our native peoples.”

We’ll have to put that San-dus-kee thing before the NCAA political correctness committee to see if Sandusky needs to join Chief Illiniwek in the trash heap of disdained, albeit formerly revered, symbols of Americana. Sandusky, Ohio, I mean. Jerry has already found his own way to the trash heap.
And, yes, it is a sick joke, but this Turkey feels the need to laugh once in a while when things get too heavy. It is in no way intended to denigrate the plight of the victims or take the whole affair too lightly.
