Robinson Impresses in 49er Camp

Posted on June 8, 2006 Written by The Nittany Turkey

Robinson’s running style reminds longtime Niners watchers of a much bigger Charlie Garner in that he always seems to move forward when carrying the ball. bwin ???? In addition, the former Penn State quarterback appears to be a very natural, fluid receiver.

Way to go, M-Rob!

The telecast is the second announced TV appearance of the 2006 season for the Nittany Lions, who have appeared on television 138 of their last 140 games. Penn State’s Saturday, Sept. 9 game at Notre Dame will kick at 3:30 ET and be nationally televised by NBC. All of Penn State’s games during the past two seasons have been televised. The Nittany Lions and Wolverines will be meeting in Happy Valley for the first time in five years. The Nittany Lions’ last home night game was October 8, 2005, as Penn State captured a 17-10 thriller over Ohio State in front of an electric crowd of 109,839 and a huge ESPN audience. Whodat Turkey?

The Nittany Turkey is a retired techno-geek who thinks he knows something about Penn State football and everything else in the world. If there's a topic, we have an opinion on it, and you know what "they" say about opinions! Most of what is posted here involves a heavy dose of hip-shooting conjecture, but unlike some other blogs, we don't represent it as fact. Read More…
